I am a Senior Managing Partner at Lighthouse Wealth Partners, where I specialize in financial planning and investment management. My expertise spans across various areas, including retirement income allocation, life insurance coverage, social security optimization, and Medicare selection. I take great pride in advising my clients on how to generate income when needed by implementing proven strategies, such as insurance, estate planning, and generational transfers. Collaborating with my clients on these strategies and tactics is a time-tested process that provides them with insight into a changing and complex investment arena.

With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, I've had the privilege of working with some esteemed organizations, including Morgan Stanley, Quick & Reilly, Banc of America Investments, and Sunrise Wealth Partners. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Tech and have also obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation, and the National Social Security Advisor® (NSSA®) certification. What motivates me most is helping people identify their goals and ensuring they sleep well at night. Meeting new folks and making them feel comfortable in their investing life is what I truly enjoy about my job. I believe that the greatest value I can provide for my clients is personalized service and investment review, helping them plan for the future so they feel secure about the life ahead.

Originally from Arlington, VA, I now reside in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, with my wonderful wife, Ellen. Together, we have a blended family that includes my daughter Megan, her husband David, and two grandsons; my son Billy and his wife Tiffany, their 2-year-old granddaughter, and another granddaughter on the way; and Ellen's daughters Sarah and her husband Colin, and Jessica.

Outside of work, I am actively involved with the finance committee for our community and volunteer with local non-profits. In my free time, I enjoy trying to improve my golf game, participating in a bowling league with the local community, going to the beach, attending shows, and visiting breweries. Each day brings new opportunities to make a positive impact, and I am grateful for the chance to do what I love.
